I like flowers and I like taking pictures of them. I like this flower because I think the way flowers age is mighty beautiful. And this one, this one stood out to me. Honestly, I think this flower is a lot more tangible with its petals curled, with the edges brown, there's life that's been lived.
Maybe there's something to learn from the flowers, maybe there's beauty in the life that we live and in showing our frayed edges like our hearts on our sleeves.
I don't think that we're made to be fake flowers. I don't think our destiny is immutability.
I think there's beauty in the way our petals curl and blessings sprouting from letting the mess show.
